Angus was not a show prospect puppy, as we were looking for a family/hunting companion. Through his breeder, Carrie Eberhardt, I got introduced to a Labrador world that I didn't really know existed. Angus was a cute, balanced puppy and Carrie let me show him in conformation. We went to handling and obedience classes and started field training. And the addiction began! He didn't win any show points, but was RWD to a major three times. I stopped showing him at about two years of age but I enjoy bringing him out (as does he!) for Veterans and Veterans Sweeps at local specialties. He earned two Rally titles and his Junior Hunter title with me handling, and I sent him Cheri Bates who trained and ran him for his Senior Hunter title. So while Angus was never a show or breeding prospect, he was the start of, and the heart of, what would become Raynefall Labradors. Rest in peace, my best friend.
